About Jeffrey S. Benjamin

Jeffrey Benjamin started in the legal field in 1982.  He was born and raised in Miami-Dade County.  He attended West Laboratory Elementary School located on the University of Miami Campus, Glades Junior High and Southwest Miami Senior High School.  After obtaining his BS degree in Finance from the University of Florida in 1979, he attended the University of Miami School of Law graduating in the Class of 1982.

Jeffrey Benjamin began his legal career while working in law school as a law clerk for an Insurance Defense law firm. After graduating from law school, Jeffrey Benjamin joined an individual practitioner, working directly on Plaintiff cases of injured parties. He was promoted to partner in 1985. Mr. Benjamin opened the doors to his sole law firm in 2002 and has been thriving for over 11 years.

Jeffrey Benjamin is a member of the Business Referral Group, a group of local Business Leaders  serving on its Board of Directors as President from 2009-2010.  The group meets weekly to exchange business leads and provide referrals.

Attorney Jeffrey Benjamin is a proud member of the American Association for Justice, the Miami-Dade Justice Association, and the Florida Justice Association.

In his spare time, Jeffrey Benjamin has been a circle leader in the YMCA Adventure Guides and a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society’s Annual Pinecrest Relay for Life.  Jeffrey Benjamin is also the drummer for the local classic rock band “The Eclectics”.
