About Jeffrey S. Benjamin – Miami Mediation Attorney

Attorney Jeffrey S. Benjamin is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator, providing professional mediation services to individuals, attorneys, and businesses throughout South Florida. With over 30 years of legal experience, he is committed to helping parties resolve disputes efficiently, respectfully, and without the burdens of litigation.

Born and raised in Miami-Dade County, Jeffrey Benjamin attended West Laboratory Elementary School on the University of Miami campus, Glades Junior High, and Southwest Miami Senior High School. He earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida in 1979 and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 1982.

Jeffrey began his legal career as a law clerk at an insurance defense firm while still in law school. Upon graduating, he joined a small practice, working on civil matters and quickly rising to partner by 1985. In 2002, he established his own law firm and has continued serving the South Florida legal community with integrity and professionalism.

Now focused exclusively on alternative dispute resolution, Jeffrey brings a unique perspective from decades of litigation experience. His approach to mediation is built on neutrality, active listening, and a commitment to helping both parties reach mutually beneficial agreements.

Jeffrey Benjamin is also a former President of the Business Referral Group, a local network of business professionals. He is an active member of the Miami-Dade Justice Association, Florida Justice Association, and the American Association for Justice, reflecting his dedication to professional excellence.

Outside of his legal work, Jeffrey has served as a circle leader with the YMCA Adventure Guides and regularly supports community causes such as the American Cancer Society’s Pinecrest Relay for Life. In his downtime, he enjoys playing drums with the local classic rock band The Eclectics.
